With the Home Brew Competition looming, there is SO much to taste at the shop! Plus, we've added a sale mix and match table, enabling you to get some of the past season's brews at a cheaper price.

We've got incredible summer whites in, including beautiful dry Rosés ranging in price from $10-$30, and some incredible value wines, as low as $9.

HOME BREW COMPETITION!

Join us for the 1st Annual Home Brew Competition! We let you be the judge. While the official judges are tasting and judging the entries, we want you to taste and judge as well – public opinion is very important, right? We'll also have a few other beers to sample and taste.

Sunday, July 18, 2-4pm

Tickets: $10 | GET TICKETS NOW!

There will be no style restrictions on the beers brewed, and participants are encouraged to brew FOR the event itself.

Entry fee will be $10 and the deadline for entry is July 1, 2010. To enter, brewers do NOT need to produce the beer BY THE DEADLINE. By July 1, just email Jill with a description of the beer you are entering. Judging will take place ON July 18th, and beers only need to be produced by that date.

Competition rules and Entry Information:

• Any amateur may enter.
  
• All entries must be brewed at home, not in a commercial establishment. Up to 5 entries per person allowed.
  $10 per entry fee.
• Brewers must submit three 10 ounce or larger bottles for their beer entry. Caps should be blacked out or blank. PET bottles with carbonator caps are allowed.
• The deadline for entries is July 1, 2010. Entries will be accepted later only with the prior approval of the organizers and with submission of completed competition entry forms before the deadline.
• Bottle labels must be attached to each bottle with a rubber band-no tape. Bottle labels must include the full recipe.
• We reserve the right to ask for recipes after the competition.
• Bottles, filled or unfilled, may not be returned.
• There will be a winner for each respective category that we receive 10 or more entries. Otherwise the beer will be judged with the category that is most similar. There will be "One" overall winning brew that will win the Best to Brew or Best in Show category.
• Judging will take place on July 18, 2010 at 2:00pm at The Acorn Theater. Guests are welcome. Judges will be announced after the entry deadline.
