FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 6:00PM-9:00PM EST: THE WINE SHOP AT THE ACORN HOSTS AN EXTREME BEER TASTING, FOCUSING ON SEASONAL BREWS!

 

After the amazing success of the first Extreme Beer Festival in May 2008, The Wine Shop at The Acorn has again teamed up with Imperial Beverage to present a “Seasonal Extreme Beer Tasting", from 6-9pm.

 

The tasting will feature seasonal, high-gravity beers, mostly from around the mid-west (with some exceptions made for wicked brews from all over the country.) All "extreme", and all things people will be thrilled to experience. Brewers like Great Lakes (Ohio), Founders (Grand Rapids) and more will be represented, showcasing old seasonal standards and new brews guaranteed to tempt the adventurous. As is The Wine Shop’s standard for most of the beers they carry, most of these beers are almost impossible to find, as they are only produced once a year in limited quantities. There will be some old favorites (from the previous Extreme Beer Festival) but tasters can anticipate some WILD brews!

 

Light food will also be served, (to keep people on their toes); live music from David Kav will entertain for a portion of the evening.

 

The event is limited to 75 people, and will be held in The Acorn Theater (as opposed to The Wine Shop).
