Step right up for THE OTHER SIDE SHOW, a benefit to raise funds for Burners Without Borders Disaster Relief Fund. This year’s event, the follow-up to the wildly popular Mardi Gras benefit last winter, will be even more outrageous than before.
Hear the Ginormously Jiggy Black Bear Combo, a see death defying DJ's and dangerously daring dancers. Witness the spectacular spectacle of unchained art performance run amok, and join intrepid travelers for a rhythmic Safari with drums from the Dark Continent. Experience extraordinarily exciting human anomalies and their strange behaviors, and savor exotic potluck delicacies from around the world. Discover mysterious insights through the Oracle Arts! Behold panoramic video mischief!
Live music and performers include: Black Bear Combo, a fantastic marching band based in Chicago. Rhythm Works, an interactive percussion ensemble from South Bend. Lola Martinet, Strings of Fire (an intense electric violin player and fire-eater from Lansing), and KemWati BellyDance Tribe. DJ’s will include: Lou Dooben, The Funky Professor, John Darbyshire, Rudeboi, and Brett Padgett. And don’t miss tarot readings with Madame Caelestis.
21st Century Sideshow costumes are encouraged, and guests are asked to bring a snack or dish to share.
Each ticket purchased raises funds for Burner’s Without Borders disaster relief.
